Dr Frank Karbenn is co-founder and Managing Partner at Hegel Karbenn & Cie. Until creation of the company and during his more than ten years of practise for Sal. Oppenheim, Dr Frank Karbenn significantly contributed to the establishment and the successful positioning of the industry group “Energy/ Public Sector”, most recently in his function as Managing Director. During this period, he was responsible for a variety of complex and demanding transactions in the utility, the waste disposal services and the water supply sector. Moreover, he assisted numerous municipalities in shaping and implementing strategic alliances and cooperation projects. Previously, he was active for RWE group and an international strategy consultancy. Dr Frank Karbenn completed his studies of business administration and economics and received his doctorate honors at the University of Essen upon completion of an energy-management related topic.
