Dr Thomas Gabelmann is co-founder and Partner at Hegel Karbenn & Cie. Previously, he spent ten years with the investment banking division of Sal. Oppenheim in the industry group “Energy/ Public Sector”. In this function, he successfully performed project manager responsibilities executing various M&A and ECM mandates in the German and international utility industry, with particular emphasis on renewable energies and the cleantech sector during the recent years. Dr Thomas Gabelmann studied economics. Earlier, he was a research assistant at the University of Frankfurt (Main) and worked for the German energy association VDEW on principle questions in competitive energy markets.
